大漠驿站

D小姐说，塔中入口处牌坊上的对联——“没有荒凉的人生，只有荒凉的沙漠”，很好地诠释了塔中的精髓。在一片寂静无聊的沙海中，塔中既是一个货车来来往往的驿站，也是治疗类似忧郁症的“沙漠综合症”的地方。在邻近沙漠油田里呆得寂寞难耐的工人们，时不时到塔中来找乐子。

等不着的班车

今日的石油公路，也和千年前的丝绸之路一样需要驿站。塔河原本只有小农村，但随着沙漠公路的出现，外来人口开始迁入做买卖打工，给来来往往的货车和油车司机、石油公司和其下游产业服务。我在苦等班车期间，听了不少外来人口的迁徒故事，然后总结出，在这个边疆和沙漠地带，生活条件极为匮乏和艰苦的地方，能吸引外来人口的主要条件，除了有钱可挣以外，也恰恰是因为它的偏远和人少。
